26/04/2021 - Decision on supplier for Community Link TEC equipment ref: 378 Recommendations Approved
To award the future contract for supply of Technology Enabled Care equipment to a new supplier for one year, with an option to extend for a further three years.
Community Link needs to move to purchasing and supplying digital equipment for its clients, as BT is withdrawing the network of analogue telephone lines. An options appraisal for suppliers of the new digital equipment has resulted in a clear front-runner, in terms of the quality and range of their products and the price. A contract for supply needs to be drawn up (via Consortium Procurement, which carries out the formal procurement process for us) to ensure continuity of supply at the agreed prices.
