The group approved the notes of the meeting held on 17 May 2017.

To note the Forward Plan extract (if any) for the Local Economy Portfolio

The relevant items of the October 2017 forward plan were noted by the group.

The group noted that not only the access height for the new piries place car park should be discussed at a later date.

The Head of Economic Development provided the group with a presentation on the Draft Visitor Economy Strategy.

The group agreed that more needed to be done, moving forward, to promote tourism within the Horsham District. This could be done by improving tourism information and facilities as well as having a better web presence and creating a visual identity for the District.
