To appoint members to the Unparished Area Committee for the remainder of the 2024/25 municipal year in accordance with the attached schedule.

 

Note: To make the appointments set out in the attached schedule, it is necessary to disapply the proportionality rules. In order to disapply the proportionality rules, no Member must vote against the proposed appointments.

Notice of Motion

To consider the following Notice of Motion, submitted by Councillor Philip Circus:

 

“This Council acknowledges the longstanding problem of traffic congestion and related air pollution issues that affect several communities in Horsham district, in particular, Storrington and Cowfold. We reiterate our belief that these communities would benefit from planned improvements to the A27. It is agreed therefore that the Leader of the Council will write to the new Secretary of State asking for confirmation that the new government will commit itself to supporting the agreed improvements in the interests of our residents.”
