The group received the notes of the previous meeting, held on 20/09/17.

To note the Forward Plan extract (if any) for the Waste, Recycling and Cleansing Portfolio

The group noted the contents of the extract.

The Corporate Project Manager summarised the Risk Review Report for the upcoming changes to bin collections.

The group identified that the most important issue would be the communication between HDC and residents.

Members noted that officers will continue to remind and reinforce the public’s knowledge of recycling in the district.

The Head of Waste, Recycling, Street Scene & Fleet Services provided the group with a current look at the schedule of the Waste Implementation Review Programme.

The group noted that the Alternate Weekly Collection Programme was still running to schedule.

The Head of Waste, Recycling, Street Scene & Fleet Services provided the group with a brief summary of the new Fuel Contract for the fleet.

Members noted that this new contract would increase savings for HDC.
