The notes of the previous meeting were received by the Group.

To update the Group on the Local Plan Review process

The Planning Policy Team Leader provided a draft summary of key findings from the Horsham Transport Study that will be used to form part of the evidence base for the new Local Plan.

The Head of Strategic Planning provided a brief update on Economic Development, highlighting the key issues and options that could be taken going forward.

The Director of Place provided a brief update on the timetable for producing the new Local Plan.

To update the Group on progress in delivering the key strategic sites allocated in the adopted Horsham District Planning Framework

The Head of Strategic Planning provided updates on the progress for key strategic sites allocated in the HDPF.

There were no key updates for Billingshurst, Highwood, Novartis or Southwater.

There was no major update for Kilnwood Vale, works were continuing steadily.

Works for the School in the North Horsham site had commenced as well as works on the road network following technical approval by West Sussex County Council.
