To note the Forward Plan extract (if any) for the Local Economy Portfolio

The relevant items of the January 2018 forward plan were noted by the group.

To receive an update on the Parking Strategy from the Head of Parking Services.

This item was taken in conjunction with item 6.

The group requested that an update be provided at the next meeting looking at the projected income generated by parking enforcement.

To receive a presentation from the Head of Parking Services

The Head of Parking Services provided members with a presentation on the impact of the changes made to rural car parking.

The group noted that improvements to the scheme were being implemented throughout 2018/19. The additional income generated by the scheme would be used to help fund these improvements.

To receive a presentation from the Head of Parking Services.

The Head of Parking Services provided the group with an overview of the proposed changes to Parking Tariffs in the town centre.

The group was also provided with an overview of the key parking objectives going forward. The group noted that officers were working on a plan for improving car parks across the district.
