Chairman of the Council

The Chairman of the Council is Councillor David Skipp.

The responsibilities of the Chairman include:
•Being the civic and ceremonial head of Horsham District Council
•Upholding and promoting the purposes of the Council's Constitution
•Representing the District Council at a variety of civic, ceremonial and community functions
•Presiding over meetings of full Council to ensure that its business is carried out fairly and efficiently

The Vice-Chairman of the Council is Councillor Nigel Emery.
